Nintendo kinda forced us to like Lucario. I mean, it's not a legendary, it's not that powerful, but they put lots of hype around it and made the first one hard to get so people would like it.

Not that I dislike it, but it's about the same as the other "start with one plot based one and breed more" pokemon, like metagross.
